Welcome to the Lane CoVelo Cycling Club.
We are a group of cyclists who meet every Saturday morning in Lane Cove Plaza (125 Longueville Road Rd) at 6:30am. Our rides are primarily social in nature.
Ride groups are at different speeds and distances.

A Group 80km+ 30km/hr 16km/hr 10:00 AM
B1 Group 70km+ 28km/hr 15km/hr 9:30 AM
B2 Group 60km+ 26km/hr 14km/hr 10:00 AM
C Group 40km+ 24km/hr 12km/hr 9:00 AM
It is more important that you are able to ride at the pace on the flats in a group than you able to do the pace on the hills, the groups typically splinter on the hills, but regroup at the top. Riders are expected to be self sufficient on the bike, so please carry a spare tube, pump and some basic tools. The group will stop for mechanicals, but please ensure that your bike is in good mechanical repair.
A small note re C Group. It is a small group and may not have a ride leader, or perhaps any rider on occasion. So please ensure you have a backup plan, e.g. an alternate solo ride planned or if capable, join B2.
Upcoming rides can be found on TeamApp. You will need to register for each ride on TeamApp. Download TeamApp to your phone (or use the web) and register with Lane Covelo, and then RSVP to the ride event. New riders may ride with a group for a couple of rides before joining as a member. You are not required to sign a disclaimer however we ask for all riders to consider insurance either through Cycling Australia membership or Bicycle NSW Membership before you ride with us.
You must be 18 years of age or older to ride with us.
How to Join

To join as a full member you join via Cycling Australia (http://membership.cycling.org.au/) select the insurance level and then select Lane Covelo for your club.
If you are already a member of Cycling Australia, Bicycle NSW or have suitable insurance through a similar body then you may join as as an associate member. Deposit $15 to:

Post Ride

The groups stop at Two Brothers Cafe in the Lane Cove mall at the end of the ride, so if you want to hang around please also bring some money for coffee or drink.
